Copenhagen Mars ------------- [Under Construction]
BK København Mars, or Copenhagen Mars, have a unique standing in Danish football.
The club were founded in 1958 by a small group of Marseillais who had settled in the Danish capital. The team's name pays homage to Marseille, with a nod to the southern French city’s nickname, but also incorporates fun and quirky elements inspired by outer space.
The team's nickname, the Martians, and the "Out of this world" motto speak to Mars’s ambition to push the limits and reach new heights. On the pitch, they wear striking white and orange halves on their shirts, white shorts and white socks, while their crest, in another heavy reference to Marseille, features a blue cross on a white shield.
Despite their relatively small size, Copenhagen Mars have made a significant impact on Danish football. They have consistently punched above their weight, achieving several promotions and solid performances in top-flight competitions. With a passionate fan base and a commitment to playing exciting, attacking football, Mars have set their sights on the new challenge of the KIT LEAGUE, and they have no intention of just making up the numbers.bn
