Montreal Monarques ------------- [Under Construction]

Montreal Monarques FC were formed in 1953 as a celebration of Queen Elizabeth II's coronation. The team's colors, purple and gold, were inspired by the royal colors of the British monarchy, and their name was chosen to reflect Montreal's French heritage.

The Monarques quickly became one of the top teams in Canadian football, with their home ground, "Stade Royale", located in the heart of Montreal and now boasting a seating capacity of 40,000 fans.

The team's nickname, "Les Couronnés" (The Crowned Ones), again reflects the royal origins and their status as one of the elite clubs in North American football, with the Monarques preparing to enter the KIT LEAGUE with a new crest featuring a stylized crown and a fleur-de-lis - symbolising the team's French Canadian roots. Their new kit features a regal purple and gold color scheme, with intricate designs inspired by the ornate architecture of Montreal's historic buildings.
