Building Story World
We're currently in the process of creating the KIT LEAGUE story world, paying close attention to every detail. This includes designing club logos, players and stadiums. In 2024, we will hold multiple logo design contests to gather appropriate logos for all of the teams. Alongside visual elements, we're also developing a rich backstory for the league, encompassing each club and player.
Simulation Engine (Version 1)
Integrating the V1 simulation engine into the KIT LEAGUE platform is a top priority for us, as it is needed to provide realistic simulations for matches, taking into account a wide range of factors such as player form, player skill, fan support, team formation and much more.
League Setup and Testing
Setting up the league for the inaugural season involves various tasks, including configuring details such as the number of teams, the format and the schedule. We also need to integrate the simulation engine to ensure that the matches are run smoothly and accurately. Additionally, we conduct test matches, commonly referred to as friendly matches, to monitor the performance of the simulation engine leading up to the official start of the season. These friendlies are essential in helping us identify any issues with the league setup and ensure that everything works reliably once the official season starts.
On-Board Community Members and Designers
In 2024, we're planning to invite community members and a group of talented designers to start working on several collections of digital football shirts. The aim is to create unique, high-quality designs that reflect the culture and history of each team in the league. The designers will work together with the KIT LEAGUE team to ensure that each design meets the standards and requirements of the platform.
Simulation Engine (Version 2)
The upcoming V2 simulation engine will be a significantly advanced version in comparison to the previous one, resulting in a more realistic simulation that will take into account 10+ player characteristics as well as additional team factors. This will provide detailed match reports for a more immersive experience.
Rewards Integration
The integration of a rewards programme to the KIT LEAGUE platform is a crucial element that will incentivise community engagement and participation. The programme will be connected to the results of the league matches and the digital collectibles, creating an ever-expanding ecosystem that allows members to collect, trade and earn. By participating in the marketplace, collecting specific series of digital items, and holding digital collectibles of teams that win or draw in the league, members can earn rewards that can be used to redeem exclusive digital collectibles or other benefits within the platform.
Marketplace Launch
The launch of the marketplace is a crucial milestone in the development of the platform. It will serve as a hub for members to buy, sell, and trade digital football shirts, while also providing them with opportunities to earn rewards for their participation.
Kit Launches
Starting in 2024, we will begin selling digital shirts from teams of the KIT LEAGUE, giving fans the chance to buy collectibles from our story-world teams in a unique and digital way. The Kit Launches, - commonly referred to as "drops" - will create a buzz of excitement among football enthusiasts globally and serve as a gateway for supporters to actively become part of the KIT LEAGUE seasons.
KIT LEAGUE Inaugural Season Start (Beta)
The KIT LEAGUE inaugural season start marks an important milestone for the platform as it will be the beta season of the league. The season will feature 25 teams, which is half of the 50 teams that will eventually be competing. This season will be an exciting opportunity for fans and members to follow their favourite teams and engage with the platform as it continues to grow.
Virtual wearables
In 2025-2026 we aim to integrate our VR/AR technology which allows users to wear the virtual shirts they own in an open VR or AR environment.
