Jakarta Steamrollers FC were founded in 1955 and takes their name from, in the steamroller, a symbol of Indonesia's industrial development of that time.

The team's black and gold kit reflects the proceeds of industry - smoke and wealth - and their motto, "Gelora dan Semangat" (Passion and Spirit), captures the team's determination to succeed through labour.

Now - for the KIT LEAGUE - Jakarta Steam, the side play their home games at the Kasablanka Stadium, located in the bustling heart of Jakarta, where they have established a loyal following of supporters proudly calling themselves the Steamroller Nation. As the Steam enter a new competition, they are determined to showcase the skill and tenacity that have made them a force to be reckoned with in the Indonesian football scene.
