Kit Launches
Starting in 2025, we will begin launching virtual shirts from teams in the KIT LEAGUE universe, giving early adopters the chance to acquire collectibles from all our teams. During the kit launches, commonly referred to as "drops," shirts will be released in relatively low quantities, with a portion offered as free giveaways to attract participants. As KIT LEAGUE grows, the number of copies for each shirt will gradually increase.
Building Storyworld
KIT LEAGUE's storyworld is a work in progress and will be continuously developed alongside the kit launches, with close attention to every detail. This includes designing club logos, players, and stadiums. In 2025, we will hold multiple logo design and redesign contests to establish the visual identity for many of the teams. Alongside the visual elements, we're also developing a rich backstory for the league.
Marketplace Launch
The launch of the marketplace is a crucial milestone in the development of the platform, set to open shortly after the first kit launches. It will serve as a hub for members to buy, sell, and trade virtual football shirts, while also providing opportunities to earn rewards for completing collecting challenges.
Simulation Engine (Version 1)
Integrating the V1 simulation engine into the KIT LEAGUE platform has been a top priority for us, as it is essential for providing realistic match simulations that consider a wide range of factors, such as player form, skill, fan support, team formation, and more. After intensive development, this has now been completed.
League Setup and Testing
Setting up the league for the inaugural season involves various tasks, including configuring details such as the ratings of the teams, ratings of the players, the league format, and the schedule. We also need to continuously test the simulation engine to ensure that matches run smoothly and accurately. To achieve this, we conduct test matches, referred to as "friendly matches" on our platform, to monitor the performance of the simulation engine leading up to the official start of the season.
Simulation Engine (Version 2)
The upcoming V2 simulation engine will be a significantly advanced version in comparison to the previous one, resulting in a more realistic simulation that will take into account 10+ player characteristics as well as additional team factors. This will provide detailed match reports for a more immersive experience.
KIT LEAGUE Inaugural Season Start (Beta)
The KIT LEAGUE inaugural season start marks an important milestone for the platform as it will be the beta season of the league. The season will feature 25 teams, which is half of the 50 teams that will eventually be competing. This season will be an exciting opportunity for fans and members to follow their favourite teams and engage with the platform as it continues to grow.
Virtual wearables
In 2026, we aim to release our virtual wearables, which will be accessible to owners of our collectibles for use in an open VR or AR environment. If you own a KIT LEAGUE shirt, you will have the option to acquire the corresponding virtual wearable.
